I'm sure we have all had that moment. The moment when we realize we have won, we have placed first, we are the very best, and everyone else is beneath us. Well this isn't that moment. Blogging is nothing new and has been around for as long as I have been playing video games. Everyone blogs from the Google CEO to the grandmother of 14. But what makes this blog unique is that it is mine, all mine. Any thoughts I have or opinions I want to let out into the world can land on my blog.
To start I want to let everyone know about the fantastic little film known as Rise of the Planet of the Apes. This great sci fi movie is a prequel to the Planet of the Apes films from the 60, 70's and most recently early 2001. However one thing sets this film apart from any of the previous. That is motion capture CGI. Oh yes there is plenty of mo-cap to go around in this film but it isn't obvious. I mean the days of motion capture looking like the dejected Beowolf are apparently over. Andy Serkis brings Cesar truly to life through this newly polished form of acting.
You can honestly lose yourself in this film and regain that little piece of movie magic that we held onto so dearly in our younger years.
If you are set on seeing one film this month then I strongly urge you to see Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
